Funeral Irish Prayer

  

He put his arms around you, and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.    

       
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.

الله وضع ذراعيه من حولك ، ورفعت لك الراحة. حديقة الله يجب أن تكون جميلة ، فهو يأخذ دائما الأفضل. ورأى ان الطريق اصبح خشنا ، والتلال صعبة الصعود. ولذا اغلق جفونك المتعبة ، وهمس "السلام لك". لقد كسر قلوبنا ان تتركنا ، لكنك لم تذهب وحيدا. لان بعضا منا ذهب معك ، ودعاك الله للرجوع الى المنزل.
       
ورأى الله تعبك ولم يكن علاج. لذا وضع ذراعيه من حولك وهمست "تعال الي". بعينين دامعتين شاهدناك ، ورأيناك تمضي.
